Located in Gainesville, Florida, the UF Health Heart & Vascular provides care and resources for cardiovascular and neurological patients. The nine-story expansion provides: 216 new inpatient beds, an outpatient clinic, 16 operating rooms including five hybrid, two CT scanners, two MRIs, an iMRI, catheterization labs, EP labs, general radiology, fluoro, utrasound and support spaces.
Dedicated to providing patient-centric care, the design included other amenities and resources for families and staff. Interior and exterior places of respite were provided to enhance the healing environment for optimal patient outcome and experience.
